Quick and simple microwave treat with fun cookie cutter shapes for kids.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup peanut butter chips
  • 1 cup white baking chips
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 3 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 7 cups Lucky Charms™ cereal
Instructions:
  • Prepare your 15 1/2x10 1/2x1 inch jelly roll pan by lining it with waxed paper and then buttering the waxed paper.
  • In a large microwavable bowl, combine all ingredients except cereal. Microwave on High for 1 minute, stir, then continue microwaving for about 30 seconds until smooth.
  • Coat cereal evenly and press into pan using a buttered spoon. Chill in the refrigerator for about 20 minutes until slightly firm.
  • Use cookie cutters to shape the cereal mixture into fun shapes like stars, moons, and hearts. Roll the remaining mixture into 1 1/2-inch balls. Store covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. For stovetop preparation, melt all ingredients (except cereal) in a large saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly. Remove from heat and proceed with the next steps.
