Decadent and delicious chocolate breakfast treat with festive flair.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups Bisquick™ Original Pancake and Baking Mix
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup unsweetened baking cocoa
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup hazelnut spread with cocoa
  • 2 cups fresh raspberries
Instructions:
  • Preheat a nonstick griddle or skillet over gentle heat (300°F). If needed, brush with vegetable oil for a perfect sear.
  • Combine Bisquick mix, milk, cocoa, sugar, butter, vanilla, salt, and eggs in a medium bowl. Whisk until smooth and well blended.
  • Take a heaping 1/4 cup of batter and place it onto a hot griddle. Cook for about 1 minute until bubbles form on the top and the edges look dry. Flip the pancake and cook until it turns light golden brown.
  • For each pancake stack, layer one pancake on a serving plate and spread a generous teaspoon of hazelnut spread. Add another pancake, top with another generous teaspoon of hazelnut spread, and repeat with a final pancake. Drizzle a generous teaspoon of hazelnut spread over the top of the stack and finish off by topping each stack with about 1/3 cup of raspberries.
