Indulge in decadent macadamia and white chocolate friands for the perfect crunchy treat.
Ingredients:
  • 250.00 ml macadamia nut halves
  • 225.00 gm icing sugar mixture
  • 250.00 ml plain flour
  • 100g white chocolate, finely chopped
  • 5 egg whites, lightly whisked
  • 160g butter, melted, cooled
  • 4.40 gm vanilla essence
  • Icing sugar mixture, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°C (180°C fan-forced) and generously grease a 12-hole 1/2 cup muffin pan.
  • Blend nuts, sugar, and flour until it forms a fine crumbly texture. Transfer to a large bowl, then mix in the chocolate. Add egg whites, butter, and vanilla, stirring until well combined.
  • Gently fill the pan with the mixture. Bake for 15-20 minutes until a skewer comes out clean when inserted in the center of one friand. Allow to rest in the pan for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar and enjoy!
