Fluffy macaroons with whipped egg whites.
Ingredients:
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 2 cups sweetened flaked coconut
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and gently grease a baking sheet.
  • In a small bowl, whip the egg whites and salt until soft peaks form. Gradually add sugar while beating at high speed until stiff peaks form. Keep beating until glossy. Gently fold in the coconut. Spoon by the teaspoonful onto the baking sheet, keeping 2 inches apart.
  • Place in a piping hot oven for approximately 12 minutes.
