Elevate breakfast with homemade fresh marmalade for a special touch.
Ingredients:
  • 800g mandarins, whole and cleaned
  • Water
  • 600g caster sugar
Instructions:
  • Simmer mandarins in boiling water for 45 minutes until tender. Drain, quarter, and remove seeds. Pulse in a food processor until finely chopped.
  • Transfer the mixture back to the saucepan and cook gently, stirring occasionally, until the sugar completely dissolves. Simmer and stir for 35 minutes. To check if it's ready, chill a saucer in the freezer for 5 minutes, then spoon a small amount of marmalade onto it. Let it sit for 1 minute and if it wrinkles when you touch it, it's done.
