Tangy maple apple bourbon glaze enhances chicken or pork, ideal for festive feasts.
Ingredients:
  • 0.66666668653488 cup apple juice
  • 0.33333334326744 cup grade B maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons bourbon
  • 2 tablespoons light brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons liquid amino acid (such as Bragg®)
  • 1.5 tablespoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 pinch granulated garlic, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, whisk together apple juice, maple syrup, bourbon, brown sugar, liquid amino acid, Dijon mustard, and granulated garlic. Simmer on medium-low heat, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens and reduces by about 1/3, for approximately 12 minutes. Allow the glaze to cool.
