Apple slices coated in syrup, topped with a buttery brown sugar oat crumble, baked and served warm with rum raisin ice cream.
Ingredients:
  • 5 apples - peeled, cored, and sliced
  • 0.75 cup maple syrup
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.5 cup rolled oats
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 0.5 cup butter, softened
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • Spread the apples in a baking dish and coat them with syrup. In a bowl, combine flour, oats, sugar, and salt. Add butter and mix until crumbly. Sprinkle the mixture over the apples evenly.
  • Place in the oven that has been preheated to the specified temperature and bake for 35 minutes, or until the topping turns a beautiful golden brown color. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
