Wholesome apple crisp with maple-oat crumble, walnuts, and pumpkin spice baked on a sheet pan - perfect for sharing!
Ingredients:
  • 12 apples, cored and cut into 8 wedges
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon, divided
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, divided
  • 0.5 cup cold butter
  • 1.5 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.33333334326744 cup maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a rimmed baking sheet.
  • In a bowl, toss apple wedges with brown sugar, 1 teaspoon cinnamon, and 1/2 cup flour until well mixed. Spread the apple mixture onto the baking sheet.
  • Transfer the remaining 1/2 cup of flour to a separate bowl and incorporate the butter using 2 knives or a pastry blender until it resembles small peas. Mix in the remaining 1 teaspoon of cinnamon, oats, walnuts, maple syrup, pumpkin pie spice, vanilla extract, and salt. Spread the mixture over the apples.
  • Bake until the fruit mixture is bubbling, about 45-50 minutes in the preheated oven.
