Maple sweetened banana bread - a new twist on a classic favorite. Guaranteed to impress!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup maple syrup
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 0.5 teaspoon maple extract
  • 3 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 0.5 teaspoon baking powder
  • 0.25 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a 5x9 inch loaf pan.
  • Combine melted butter and rich maple syrup in a spacious bowl. Add the egg and bananas, keeping some chunks intact. Mix in the maple extract and milk. In another bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and baking powder. Gently fold into the banana mixture until just moistened. Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Combine nuts and sugar, then sprinkle evenly over the top.
  • Bake in a preheated oven for 50 minutes, or until a knife inserted in the center of the loaf comes out clean.
