Tender marinated pork roast roasted to perfection, served with creamy three cheese mashed potatoes and fresh garden salad. Guaranteed plate-licking goodness!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (5 pound) pork loin roast
  • 0.25 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 cup white vinegar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup light maple flavored pancake syrup
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Transfer the roast into a spacious resealable bag. Combine melted butter, vinegar, pancake syrup, cornstarch, and brown sugar in a small bowl. Pour the mixture into the bag with the roast. Seal the bag and evenly coat the roast. Chill in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then nestle the roast in a roasting pan or a large Dutch oven and drizzle that delicious marinade right on top.
  • Roast covered in the preheated oven for 1 hour. Uncover and roast until browned on top and internal temperature reaches at least 145°F (63°C) with a meat thermometer. Rest for 10 minutes before carving; internal temperature will rise by 10 degrees.
