Indulgent maple-sweetened chocolate truffles make the ultimate edible holiday gift.
Ingredients:
  • 200g dark chocolate, chopped
  • 40.40 gm thickened cream
  • 4.40 gm vanilla extract
  • 54.00 gm maple syrup
  • 125.00 ml dry-roasted pecan nuts, finely chopped
  • 20.00 gm cocoa powder
Instructions:
  • In a heatproof, microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate and cream together in the microwave on medium (50%) power for 2 to 3 minutes, stirring every minute with a metal spoon until smooth. Add vanilla, maple syrup, and pecans, mix well. Cover and refrigerate for 3 to 4 hours until firm.
  • Prepare a baking tray lined with parchment paper, then shape the chocolate mixture into balls using 2 teaspoons at a time.
  • Sift cocoa into a shallow dish, then coat balls with cocoa. Place on a prepared tray and refrigerate until firm.
