Maple-pecan crusted chicken: a simple, cozy weeknight meal bursting with fall flavors.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • salt to taste
  • 0.5 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup chopped pecans
  • 4 medium skinless, boneless chicken breast halves, cut into strips
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) while preparing a baking sheet with a wire rack lightly coated in cooking spray.
  • Combine the maple syrup, mayonnaise, and salt in a bowl.
  • Combine panko and pecans in a separate bowl. Coat chicken with the syrup mixture, then dredge in the panko mixture. Transfer to the prepared baking sheet.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the centers reach at least 165°F (74°C when tested with an instant-read thermometer.
