Indulge in our irresistible Maple-Bacon Ice Cream - a perfect blend of sweet and salty flavors, enhanced with aromatic bacon.
Ingredients:
  • 3 slices bacon
  • 1/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2 cups half-and-half or whipping cream
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 cup real maple syrup
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon maple flavor
  • 2 teaspoons bourbon, if desired
Instructions:
  • Cook bacon in a 10-inch skillet until crispy; then drain on paper towels.
  • Place the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl and microwave on High for about 30 seconds until melted and smooth. Stir the chocolate until completely smooth. Dip one side of each bacon slice into the chocolate and allow them to set.
  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the half-and-half, milk, syrup, sugar, maple flavor, and bourbon until well combined. Transfer the mixture to an ice-cream freezer and freeze following the manufacturer's instructions.
  • Dice the chocolate-coated bacon and fold it into the ice cream. Place the mixture in a freezer-safe container, cover, and freeze for 2 hours or until ready to serve.
