Warm bacon muffins made with Gold Medal® flour, ideal for a delightful breakfast.
Ingredients:
  • 1 2/3 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup real maple syrup
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • 6 slices bacon, crisply cooked, crumbled (1/2 cup)
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F and grease 12 standard muffin cups with cooking spray.
  • Combine flour, brown sugar, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. In a separate medium bowl, whisk together milk, syrup, melted butter, and egg until well combined. Gently fold the milk mixture into the flour mixture until just combined, then mix in the bacon. Fill muffin cups three-fourths full with the batter.
  • Bake for 16-18 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Remove from pan and serve warm.
