Broiled maple mustard pork chops with a flavorful dry rub and tangy glaze. Perfectly balanced with sweet and spicy notes.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup lightly packed brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon fresh-ground black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 4 (6 ounce) boneless pork loin chops
  • 0.25 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons spicy brown mustard
Instructions:
  • Combine brown sugar, pepper, salt, onion powder, and paprika in a bowl. Rub pork chops with spice mixture. Refrigerate, covered, for 6 hours to overnight.
  • Preheat the broiler in the oven and position the rack at the highest level.
  • Place the pork chops on a slotted broiler pan. Mix maple syrup and spicy mustard in a small bowl.
  • Broil pork chops in the preheated oven for 5 minutes on one side. Flip and broil for another 5 minutes. Brush tops with mustard glaze and cook for 1 minute. Flip chops over, brush again with glaze, and broil for another minute until desired doneness. Serve pork chops on plates and add more glaze, if desired.
