Decadent cream cheese and sour cream chocolate brownies.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup margarine
  • 0.75 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.33300000429153 cup white sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C), then prepare a 10x15 inch jellyroll pan by greasing and flouring it.
  • In a saucepan over medium-high heat, melt margarine, water, and cocoa together until boiling. Remove from heat. Combine flour and 2 cups sugar, mix into the cocoa mixture. Add eggs, sour cream, baking soda, and salt, stirring until well combined. Spread mixture evenly into the pan.
  • Combine cream cheese and sugar until smooth, then spread over the batter in the pan, creating a marbled effect with a knife. Finish by sprinkling with chocolate chips.
  • Bake at the preheated oven until brownies start to pull away from the sides, approximately 25 to 30 minutes. Allow to cool, then cut into bars.
