Marinate shrimp for up to 3 hours before grilling, adjust red pepper to taste. Try the versatile marinade on chicken too!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 3 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 teaspoons tequila
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 4 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 20 minutes
Instructions:
  • Mix shrimp with olive oil, cilantro, lime juice, garlic, tequila, cayenne pepper, and salt in a bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and chill for 30 minutes.
  • Get your outdoor grill sizzling hot and give the grate a light coating of oil to prep for cooking.
  • Skewer the shrimp, leaving behind the marinade.
  • Grill the shrimp on high heat until they turn pink, about 2 to 3 minutes per side.
