Savor a cozy Bistro-style hot sandwich this winter for ultimate indulgence.
Ingredients:
  • 750g beef
  • 4 roma tomatoes, quartered lengthways
  • 150g packet Diced Onion 2 Pack
  • 165g packet Traditional Liquid Gravy
  • 4 Rustic White Rolls
  • 50g baby rocket leaves
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180C (160C fan-forced). Place the unwrapped meatloaf in the foil tray in the oven and bake for 1 hour until well-browned. Arrange the tomatoes cut-side up on a baking tray lined with non-stick baking paper and add to the oven for the final 30 minutes of cooking.
  • Heat oil in a medium frying pan over medium-low heat. Cook onions for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until caramelized. Heat gravy according to package directions.
  • Slice the meatloaf into 8 pieces and halve the rolls horizontally. Arrange the meatloaf on the bottom halves of the rolls, then generously pour gravy on top. Layer with onions, tomatoes, arugula, and cover with the top halves of the rolls.
