Delicious lamb burgers on Turkish rolls with olives and chutney - a guaranteed crowd pleaser!
Ingredients:
  • 550g lean lamb mince
  • 125.00 ml low-fat feta cheese, crumbled
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 125.00 ml multi-grain breadcrumbs
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed
  • 62.50 ml pitted kalamata olives, finely chopped
  • 125.00 ml mint leaves, finely chopped
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 4 x 10cm-long pieces Turkish bread, split open
  • 80g rocket leaves
  • 82.50 gm tomato chutney
Instructions:
  • In a ceramic bowl, mix together mince, feta, egg, breadcrumbs, garlic, olives, mint, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Shape the mixture into four 3cm-thick patties. Place them on a plate, cover, and refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • Preheat the barbecue plate over medium heat. Lightly spray the patties with oil and cook for 4 to 5 minutes on each side until fully cooked. Keep warm by covering them. Place bread on the barbecue plate, cut-side down, and toast for about 1 minute.
  • Layer the rocket onto the bread bases, add the patties, chutney, and finish with the bread tops. Serve and enjoy!
