Flavorful salmon marinated in balsamic vinegar and fresh herbs for a taste-packed Mediterranean dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 0.25 cup balsamic vinegar
  • 4 cloves garlic, pressed
  • 4 (4 ounce) fillets salmon
  • 1.5 teaspoons garlic salt
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
Instructions:
  • Combine oil and vinegar in a small bowl.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow baking dish. Massage garlic onto the salmon, then drizzle the oil and vinegar mixture over them, ensuring they are evenly coated. Season with garlic salt and sprinkle cilantro and basil on top. Allow to marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Preheat the broiler by positioning an oven rack about 6 inches from the heat source.
  • Take the salmon out of the marinade and gently shake off any extra. Keep a small amount of the marinade and discard the rest.
  • Broil the salmon in the preheated oven, turning once and brushing occasionally with the reserved marinade, until the fish is browned on both sides and flakes easily with a fork, about 10 to 12 minutes. Brush with marinade in the last 4 minutes of cooking.
