Ingredients:
  • 1 pound butter
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • In a sturdy saucepan, mix together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until the mixture comes to a boil. Let it reach the brittle stage at 300 degrees F (150 degrees C) without stirring. Remove from heat.
  • Place a generous amount of nuts and chocolate chips into a 9x13 inch dish. Carefully pour the hot mixture over the top, allowing it to cool and set. Break into delectable pieces before indulging in this sweet treat.
