Sprinkle crushed candy or nut brittle on top. Customize with any flavor extract.
Ingredients:
  • 2 egg whites
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon almond extract
  • 0.33333298563957 cup toffee baking bits
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 250°F (130°C) and line cookie sheets with parchment paper.
  • Whisk egg whites until they form stiff peaks and gradually add in 1/4 cup of granulated sugar, continuing to beat until the mixture is glossy and holds its shape.
  • Stir in flavoring extract, gently incorporate 1/4 cup of sugar, and 1/3 cup of finely crushed nut brittle or candy pieces.
  • Place spoonfuls of the mixture onto a parchment-covered baking sheet to form desired shapes. If desired, lightly sprinkle with more crushed candy or powdered confectioner's sugar. Bake in the oven for 30-35 minutes until set and delicately browned.
  • To effortlessly release baked kisses from paper, simply lay a hot, damp towel and place the paper with kisses on top. Allow it to sit for about one minute to let the steam work its magic and effortlessly glide the kisses off the paper using a spatula.
