Milk Chocolate Pecan Pie

Sweet pecan and chocolate pie baked until gooey and golden in a buttery crust.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (9 inch) pie shell
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup light corn syrup
  • 0.66666698455811 cup white sugar
  • 0.33331999182701 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 0.5 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • In a medium mixing bowl, lightly beat eggs with a rotary beater or fork. Add corn syrup, sugar, and butter, mix thoroughly. Gently fold in pecan and chocolate pieces until well combined.
  • Cover the edges of the pie shell with aluminum foil to avoid overbrowning, then place it on the oven rack and pour in the filling.
  • Preheat the oven and bake for 25 minutes. Uncover the crust edges, then bake for another 25 minutes until a knife inserted in the center comes out clean. Chill before serving with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.
