Irresistible peppermint bark with layers of creamy milk chocolate and white chocolate topped with crushed candy canes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (12 ounce) packages milk chocolate chips
  • 2 (12 ounce) packages white chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons peppermint extract
  • 8 peppermint candy canes, crushed, divided
Instructions:
  • Prepare all ingredients and use aluminum foil to line a 12x18 inch jelly roll pan.
  • Melt the milk chocolate in 30-second intervals in a microwave-safe bowl, stirring in between, for 1 to 5 minutes until smooth. Be cautious not to overheat to avoid scorching. Mix in the peppermint extract. Spread the chocolate in the pan evenly and refrigerate until firm, approximately 30 minutes.
  • Melt the white chocolate in the microwave in short intervals, stirring each time until smooth, for 1 to 5 minutes. Mix in 1/4 cup of crushed candy canes. Spread the white chocolate over the milk chocolate, then sprinkle the remaining candy cane pieces on top.
  • Refrigerate until firm, for about 1 hour. Crumble into bite-sized pieces before serving.
