Mini Caramel Apple-Sugar Cookie Pizzas

Try these delicious caramel-apple mini fruit pizzas for a crowd-pleasing treat. Simple to prepare and perfect for personalizing!
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 tablespoons Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 cup butter, softened
  • 3 tablespoons caramel topping
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 3 medium apples, peeled, thinly sliced
  • 2 tablespoons caramel topping
  • M&M's® Minis™ chocolate candies, crushed mini pretzel twists, chopped nuts, chopped candy bars, candy sprinkles, as desired
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F. Mix Cookie ingredients in a large bowl until a soft dough forms, then divide the dough in half.
  • Roll out half of the dough on a floured surface to 1/4 inch thickness. Use a 3-inch round cutter dipped in flour to cut out shapes. Arrange the cutouts 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
  • Bake until edges are lightly golden brown, about 6 to 8 minutes. Allow to cool for 2 minutes; then transfer from baking sheet to a cooling rack. Let cool completely for about 20 minutes. Repeat the process with the remaining dough, incorporating any leftover pieces into the mixture before rerolling.
  • In a medium bowl, stir together 3/4 cup softened butter, 3 tablespoons caramel topping, and vanilla until well combined. Mix in powdered sugar until it reaches a smooth and spreadable consistency.
  • Generously frost each cookie with 1 rounded tablespoon, top with apple slices, drizzle 2 tablespoons caramel, and finish with your favorite toppings. Enjoy while fresh.
