Elevate naan with tangy tomato and sausage meatball topping for quick and delicious dinners.
Ingredients:
  • 280g pkt plain naan bread
  • 160ml (2/3 cup) mild chunky tomato salsa
  • 375g pkt extra lean italian sausages
  • 250g punnet cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 100g (1 cup) pizza cheese
  • 1/3 sweet pineapple, peeled, cored, coarsely chopped
  • 2 lebanese cucumbers, peeled into ribbons
  • 62.50 ml fresh basil leaves, shredded
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 200°F. Mix together pineapple, cucumber, and basil in a beautiful serving bowl to create the delicious pineapple salad.
  • Spread the salsa evenly on the naan placed on 2 baking trays.
  • Peel the casing off the sausages and shape the meat into small balls.
  • Place the meatballs and tomato on the bread and generously sprinkle with cheese. Bake for 15 minutes, switching trays midway, until the meatballs are cooked through and the naan is golden and crispy. Serve with pineapple salad.
