Festive mint chocolate chip cookies: Transform classic sugar cookie mix with green food coloring, creme de menthe baking chips, and mint extract for a deliciously minty treat perfect for holidays or anytime cravings strike.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Sugar Cookie Mix
  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon mint extract
  • 6 to 8 drops green food color
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup creme de menthe baking chips
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chunks
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F. Combine the cookie mix, butter, extract, food color, and egg in a large bowl until a soft dough forms. Mix in the creme de menthe baking chips and chocolate chunks.
  • Drop spoonfuls of dough onto a cookie sheet, ensuring they are 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 8 to 10 minutes until set. Allow to cool for 3 minutes, then transfer from the cookie sheet to a wire rack. Serve warm or let cool completely before storing tightly covered at room temperature.
