"Try this unforgettable minute steak with a mouthwatering pan sauce using beef broth, BBQ sauce, and butter!"
Ingredients:
  • 2 (5 ounce) boneless sirloin steaks
  • 0.5 cup beef broth
  • 1.5 tablespoons barbeque sauce
  • 1 dash hot pepper sauce
  • 1 teaspoon cold butter, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Lay each steak between plastic sheets or in a resealable bag on a flat surface. Use a meat mallet to pound the steaks to 1/4 inch thickness. Remove the plastic and season steaks generously with salt and pepper.
  • Prepare the barbecue butter sauce by mixing beef broth, barbecue sauce, hot sauce, and an additional pinch of pepper in a bowl. Gently place the cold butter on top without stirring.
  • In a sizzling hot skillet, sear steaks on each side for 45 to 60 seconds until beautifully browned. Let them rest after removing from the skillet.
  • Add the barbecue butter sauce to the skillet and boil while using a wooden spoon to scrape up the flavorful browned bits. Stir occasionally until the butter is fully melted, about 2 minutes.
  • Drizzle steaks with barbecue butter sauce before serving.
