Homemade beef patties seasoned, breaded, and fried for a nostalgic meal. Pair with peppered gravy for extra flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 2 teaspoons chopped fresh parsley
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cups crushed saltine crackers, divided
  • 0.5 cup oil for frying
Instructions:
  • Combine ground beef, parsley, chili powder, salt, egg, and 1 cup of crushed saltine crackers in a bowl. Shape into 6 patties. Coat with remaining cracker crumbs and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  • In a large skillet over medium heat, sizzle patties for 7 minutes on each side until they're cooked through and beautifully golden.
