Indulgent chocolate muffins loaded with cocoa, chocolate chips, and moistened with creamy yogurt.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips, divided
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup plain yogurt
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Assemble your ingredients.
  • Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C) and line a 12-cup muffin pan with paper liners.
  • In a large bowl, mix together flour, sugar, 3/4 cup chocolate chips, cocoa powder, and baking soda.
  • Combine yogurt, milk, oil, egg, and vanilla in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
  • Combine the yogurt mixture with the chocolate mixture, stirring until the batter is just combined.
  • Fill muffin cups almost to the top and generously sprinkle with the remaining chocolate chips.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until the center passes the toothpick test. Let cool in the pans for 10 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
