Skewer cinnamon-sugar biscuit dough with a cherry for a fun twist on monkey bread.
Ingredients:
  • 1.25 cups white sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 2.5 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 3 (7.5 ounce) packages refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury®)
  • 40 maraschino cherries
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Get your three baking sheets and three cooling racks dressed up with parchment paper.
  • Combine white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a large resealable bag.
  • Cut each biscuit into quarters. Dip the biscuit pieces in melted butter, then transfer them to the sugar mixture. Shake the bag gently to coat the biscuits in the sugar mixture.
  • Skewer three biscuit pieces and a maraschino cherry, then repeat with three more biscuit pieces, finishing with a cherry. Continue until all ingredients are used to make a total of 20 kabobs. Place kabobs on baking sheets.
  • Bake the kabobs in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the biscuits are cooked through.
  • Place the kabobs onto the wire racks and allow them to cool down.
