Cheesy mozzarella-stuffed buttermilk biscuits topped with pizza sauce, baked until golden brown.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (7.5 ounce) package refrigerated buttermilk biscuit dough
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 3 ounces mozzarella cheese, cut into 3/4 inch cubes
  • 2 tablespoons pizza sauce
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) for a perfect bake.
  • Press your thumb into the top of each unbaked biscuit, then stuff oregano and a cube of mozzarella into the indentation. Seal the dough around the cheese.
  • Arrange the biscuits, sealed edges facing down, on a moderate baking sheet without greasing. Top with pizza sauce.
  • Place in the oven that has been preheated until the dish turns a beautiful golden brown, about 10 to 12 minutes.
