Homemade cookies inspired by Mrs. Fields, recipe yields 112 cookies.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 5 cups rolled oats
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 4 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 3 cups chopped walnuts
  • 8 ounces finely grated chocolate bar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a bowl, combine butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until creamy. Mix in eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Blend oats until finely ground.
  • Combine pulverized oats, flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a separate bowl. Stir the mixture into the butter until well combined.
  • Stir in chocolate chips, walnuts, and chocolate until well mixed.
  • Scoop golfball-sized dough portions onto greased cookie sheets, ensuring they are 2 inches apart.
  • Bake in the preheated oven in batches, ensuring a golden finish, for 8 to 10 minutes, being careful not to overbake.
