Indulgent cocoa butter pie with fudge sauce and whipped cream topping.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, melted
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.33329999446869 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 0.25 cup hot fudge topping
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and generously grease a pie plate.
  • In a mixing bowl, whisk together sugar and butter or margarine. Mix in vanilla, salt, and beaten eggs. Fold in flour and cocoa, then add nuts. Transfer mixture to pan.
  • Bake for 25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted halfway between center and edge comes out clean. Once out of the oven, pierce the pie with holes and generously spread fudge sauce on top. Allow it to cool before serving.
  • In a chilled bowl, whip cold whipping cream and confectioners' sugar until peaks form. Spread this fluffy mixture over the fudge sauce on the pie, then drizzle some extra fudge sauce on top. Chill in the refrigerator.
