Homemade mushroom cream sauce with fresh mushrooms, shallots, cream, and Asiago cheese, perfect for pasta or steak. Delicious and simple!
Ingredients:
  • 2 lobster mushrooms, cut into cubes
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 0.33333334326744 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 2 teaspoons all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoons grated Asiago cheese
  • 0.5 shallot, minced
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • In a nonstick skillet over medium heat, cook the mushrooms with water until all the water evaporates, about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  • Combine cream and flour with mushrooms until the flour is fully mixed in. Introduce Asiago cheese, shallot, salt, and black pepper to the mushroom mixture, stirring continuously. Cook and stir until the sauce thickens, about 7 minutes.
