Delicious and quick Sunday morning recipe.
Ingredients:
  • Olive oil cooking spray
  • 100g 97% fat-free bacon, roughly chopped
  • 500g cup mushrooms, thickly sliced
  • 12.20 gm Worcestershire sauce
  • 62.50 ml thyme leaves
  • 82.50 ml flat-leaf parsley, roughly chopped
  • Toasted wholegrain bread, to serve
Instructions:
  • Heat up a frying pan sprayed with oil. Add bacon and cook over medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until crisp, about 3 to 4 minutes. Set aside.
  • Coat mushrooms with a light spray of oil. Sauté them with Worcestershire sauce in a hot pan, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 4 to 5 minutes.
  • Combine thyme, parsley, and bacon with mushrooms. Stir well and cook for 1 minute, stirring frequently, until bacon is heated through. Serve mixture on top of wholegrain toast.
