Easy one-bowl pie without a crust, featuring sweetened whipped egg whites, baking soda, vanilla, cracker crumbs, chopped pecans. Bake, top with whipped cream and fruit before serving.
Ingredients:
  • 3 egg whites
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1.5 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 18 buttery round crackers, crushed
  • 0.66670000553131 cup chopped pecans
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, thawed
  • 1.5 cups fresh strawberries, sliced
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously grease a 9-inch pie pan.
  • Beat egg whites in a large glass or metal bowl until foamy. Combine sugar and baking powder, then gradually add to egg whites while beating until stiff peaks form. Mix in vanilla extract, then gently fold in crushed crackers and pecans. Evenly spread the mixture into a pie pan.
  • Preheat oven. Place the pie in the oven and lower the temperature to 325°F. Bake for 30 minutes. Allow it to cool completely. Serve with whipped topping and fresh fruit.
