Creamy crab-filled baked appetizers.
Ingredients:
  • 2 (8 ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 0.5 onion, minced
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar, or to taste
  • 1 pound imitation crabmeat, flaked
  • 1 (14 ounce) package wonton wrappers
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and generously grease a baking sheet.
  • In a bowl, blend cream cheese, sour cream, onion, garlic powder, and sugar until smooth. Gently fold in the flaked imitation crab meat.
  • Prepare a bowl with lukewarm water. Take one wonton wrapper from the stack and cover the remaining wrappers with a damp paper towel to prevent them from drying out. Moisten two adjacent edges of the wrapper using your finger. Add approximately 2 teaspoons of filling to the center. Fold the wrapper into a triangle, ensuring all air is pressed out and edges are tightly sealed. Transfer the filled wonton to the baking sheet and continue filling and folding the remaining wontons.
  • Place the dish in the preheated oven for 15 minutes, or until the wonton edges are golden brown and crispy. Serve right away.
