No-Bake Haystacks

Delicious energy bites with oats, coconut, peanuts, and raisins - no baking required!
Ingredients:
  • 3 cups quick cooking oats
  • 1 cup flaked coconut
  • 1 cup roasted peanuts, chopped
  • 2 cups white sugar
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Combine the oats, coconut, peanuts, and raisins in a large bowl.
  • Combine sugar, milk, butter, and cocoa powder in a saucepan. Bring to a boil and let it boil for 1 minute. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Pour over the oat mixture and mix well. Drop heaping spoonfuls onto waxed paper to create haystack-like piles. Let it cool completely before serving.
