Effortless method for perfect pizza dough without kneading.
Ingredients:
  • 450g (3 cups) bread or pizza flour
  • 2.40 gm table salt
  • 1/2 tsp dried yeast
  • 310ml (1 1/4 cups) warm water
  • 18.20 gm extra virgin olive oil
  • Tomato pasta sauce or passata, to spread
  • Sliced mozzarella, to top
  • Sliced pepperoni, to top
  • Fresh oregano or basil leaves, to sprinkle
Instructions:
  • Whisk flour, salt, and yeast in a large bowl using a balloon whisk. Create a well in the center and pour in water and olive oil. Stir with a wooden spoon until combined (dough will be sticky). Cover and let it sit for 12-24 hours until doubled in size.
  • Preheat the oven to 250C/230C fan forced. Lightly grease two 30cm round baking trays, then divide the dough between them. Allow the dough to rest for 15 minutes. Gently push and stretch the pizza dough with your fingertips to cover each tray evenly.
  • Spread the pizza dough with a generous layer of flavorful pasta sauce. Add a layer of gooey mozzarella and spicy pepperoni. Bake until the crust turns a beautiful golden brown and becomes delightfully crispy. Just before serving, top with a sprinkle of fragrant oregano or basil for that final touch of freshness.
