Easy no-knead pizza dough with rye flour for extra flavor, ideal for delicious homemade pizzas.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup bread flour
  • 0.5 cup rye flour
  • 1.5 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup water
  • 0.125 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 1.5 tablespoons cornmeal, or as needed
Instructions:
  • In a large bowl, mix bread flour, all-purpose flour, rye flour, and salt. Add water, olive oil, and yeast. Stir with a wooden spoon until a sticky, shaggy dough forms. Add 1 tablespoon of water if the dough seems very dry.
  • Wrap the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the dough to rise at room temperature for about 18 hours, or until more than doubled in size.
  • Transfer the dough onto a floured surface, then divide it into 2 pieces. Fold the edges of each piece towards the center to create a smooth, round top. Flip the dough over so the seam is facing down.
  • Preheat the oven to 500 degrees F (260 degrees C). Line a heavy-duty baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle cornmeal on top.
  • Flatten the dough balls gently, then shape them into rustic rounds or ovals. Add toppings as desired.
  • Bake until the edges turn a beautiful golden brown, for about 10 to 12 minutes in the preheated oven.
