Bake whitefish fillets with a delicious sweet and spicy crust.
Ingredients:
  • 0.25 cup mayonnaise
  • 0.25 cup prepared brown mustard
  • 0.5 cup dry bread crumbs
  • 0.25 cup shredded coconut
  • 0.25 cup chopped mixed nuts
  • 1 teaspoon granulated sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 pound whitefish fillets
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a medium baking dish.
  • Blend mayonnaise and brown mustard in a small bowl. In a medium bowl, combine dry bread crumbs, shredded coconut, chopped mixed nuts, sugar, salt, and cayenne pepper.
  • Coat fish fillets in the creamy mayonnaise mixture, then gently press them into the crispy bread crumb mixture. Place the coated fish fillets in the baking dish.
  • Bake for 20 minutes in the preheated oven until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
