Creamy vegan oat milk, ideal for coffee, cereal, or sweet indulgences.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • water to cover
  • 3 cups water
  • 2 small dates, pitted
Instructions:
  • Submerge oats in cool water until covered. Allow to soak for 30 minutes, covered.
  • Strain the oats with a mesh colander. Mix the oats, 3 cups of water, and dates in a large bowl. Let it sit untouched until the dates' skin softens, around 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Pour the oat mixture into a blender and blend on medium-high speed for about 1 minute until completely smooth. Strain the oat milk through a nut bag or cheesecloth to remove any solids. Enjoy cold or warm.
