Indulgent oatmeal butterscotch chip cookies made with a shortcut using Betty Crocker™ yellow cake mix. Packed with butterscotch chips, cinnamon, and walnuts for extra flavor and crunch. Top with ice cream and caramel syrup for a decadent dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Super Moist™ Yellow Cake Mix
  • 2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pans). In a large bowl, cream together butter, sugar, cinnamon, and egg using an electric mixer until creamy. Mix in cake mix and oats until well combined. Fold in butterscotch chips and walnuts.
  • Drop rounded teaspoonfuls of dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, spacing them about 2 inches apart. Gently flatten the dough slightly with your fingers.
  • Bake for 10 to 12 minutes until golden brown. Transfer to cooling racks right away and store covered.
