Ingredients:
  • 150g self-raising flour
  • 115g caster sugar
  • 90g rolled oats
  • 125g butter, chopped
  • 26.80 gm golden syrup
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Lightly grease a 16cm x 26cm baking pan and line with non-stick baking paper. In a large bowl, sift flour, then add sugar and rolled oats.
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the butter and golden syrup. Combine this mixture with the dry ingredients and the egg, stirring well until fully combined.
  • Transfer the mixture into the baking pan and bake for 20 minutes. Allow it to cool before slicing into rectangles for serving.
