Elevate Bisquick® pancakes with a sweet brown sugar and hearty oat twist!
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup maple-flavored syrup
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan over medium heat, melt butter until golden. Add walnuts and cook until butter and walnuts start to brown. Add bananas and coat in butter, then stir in syrup. Reduce heat to low and warm the mixture while preparing pancakes.
  • Preheat griddle to 375°F and grease with vegetable oil if needed. Combine all pancake ingredients in a medium bowl and stir until well blended.
  • Pour a generous 1/4 cup of batter onto a sizzling hot griddle for each pancake. Let them cook until the edges are dry, then flip them over and continue cooking until both sides are beautifully golden. Serve with a drizzle of warm syrup.
