Delicious and juicy brisket with flavorful barbecue sauce perfect for any meat dish.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • seasoned salt to taste
  • 1 (5 pound) beef brisket
  • 1 cup apple cider
  • 0.75 cup ketchup
  • 0.25 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F (150 degrees C). Season the brisket generously with seasoned salt, then place it in a roasting pan. Cover the brisket with apple juice and tightly seal with aluminum foil.
  • Place the brisket in the preheated oven and let it roast undisturbed for 3 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to low heat. Combine honey, soy sauce, and seasoned salt in a small bowl, stirring well to mix.
  • After roasting, transfer the meat to the hot grill. Cook for 30 minutes, turning regularly and generously coating with the honey sauce.
  • In a saucepan over low heat, blend ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, cider vinegar, seasoned salt, and garlic powder to create a flavorful barbeque sauce. Simmer and stir gently for 15 minutes, ensuring the sauce never reaches a boil to avoid an overly vinegary taste.
  • Allow the brisket to rest for 10 minutes post-grilling before slicing and serving it with the barbeque sauce.
