Spicy okra and tomatoes with a kick of garlic and cayenne, featuring a mix of canned tomatoes for unique texture.
Ingredients:
  • 1 small onion, minced
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.5 medium green bell pepper, minced
  • 1 pound frozen sliced okra
  • 1 (15 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 1 (8 ounce) can canned diced tomatoes
Instructions:
  • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onion, garlic, and cayenne pepper until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add green pepper and cook until tender, about 5 minutes.
  • Add frozen okra and cook for 5 minutes. Mix in stewed and diced tomatoes, then season with salt and pepper. Simmer on medium-low heat until all vegetables are heated through and tender, 5 to 7 minutes.
