One Dish Broccoli Rotini

Elevate pasta by cooking it in broccoli water, tossing with garlic, Parmesan, salt, pepper, and enjoy!
Ingredients:
  • 16 ounces fresh broccoli, chopped
  • 1 (16 ounce) package rotini pasta
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.5 cup olive oil
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • salt to taste
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Cook the broccoli in boiling water until tender, then drain it while keeping the cooking water aside.
  • After cooking broccoli, use the same water to cook rotini pasta until perfectly al dente. Drain and set pasta aside.
  • Heat up a generous amount of olive oil in a large pot and saute the garlic until fragrant. Then, mix in the cooked pasta, broccoli, and a generous amount of grated Parmesan cheese. Toss everything together well. Season with salt and pepper to your liking.
