One-pot bolognese

Quick and easy one-pot meal for busy weeknights.
Ingredients:
  • 36.40 gm olive oil
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 500g beef mince
  • 400g jar pasta sauce
  • 1/2 cup chopped mushrooms (optional)
  • 123.75 gm red wine
  • 125.00 gm water
  • 375.00 ml small pasta, of your choice
  • Chopped parsley, to serve
  • Grated parmesan, to serve
Instructions:
  • In a large saucepan over high heat, sauté the onion in oil until tender, about 2-3 minutes.
  • Add the ground meat and cook until nicely browned, using the back of a spoon to break it up. Mix in the sauce, mushrooms, wine, and water. Bring the mixture to a boil.
  • Lower the heat and gently fold in the pasta. Let it simmer for 15-20 mins, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is cooked to perfection. Season with your favorite flavors. Serve hot, garnished with fresh parsley and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese.
